We are pleased to announce the launch of our learning expeditions, a 2 – 6 months programme aimed at tourism graduates and young entrepreneurs, in partnership with the Tourism Entrepreneur Network.

The Learning expeditions is an extension of Kamaroutes graduate programme, that we have been offering to SA graduates for the past 3 years now. It was an opportunity for young professionals to acquire corporate experience and for university students to complete their work integrated learning, which is a compulsory step for them to get their tourism or hospitality degree.

Kamaroutes is an inbound tour operator and more than 90% of our clients are based in Europe, Canada and the UK. Thus we are very excited to welcome students from the ATLAS school of tourism in France, which we had previously partnered with.

From this year Kamaroutes is taking things a step further by incorporating a month-long tour of South Africa and Swaziland, where young professionals can visit partner hotels and attractions, meet with travel brand representatives and make connections that will be beneficial for the rest of their career.

We would like to thank Michele Abraham of African Synergy, Cecilia Bassog of African Safaris Deals, Sarah-Ann Sanderson of Perfections of Africa, The Tended Adventures group and all properties that agreed to partner with us and welcome our students and young professionals. We hope many more will join us in the near future as we are planning to expand the learning expeditions to other African countries.
