Arrival in Cape Town
Welcome to South Africa! When you arrive at Cape Town airport, will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to Cape Town. After check-in at your guesthouse, we invite you to discover the city of Cape Town and its famous attractions such as Table Mountain, the only terrestrial object to have given its name to a constellation. Discovered in 1503, it is one of the new seven wonders of nature. A visit to the Malay district of Bo Kaap is also included.

Cape Town

Guided tour of the Cape Peninsula
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up for the peninsula daytour, which includes activities like the Cape of Good Hope Reserve, Cape Point (Funicular fee not included) and the Boulders Beach Penguins. You will also visit the Cape Ostrich farm, which is located 600 meters from the entrance to the Cape of Good Hope nature reserve.

Wine, whales and more…
After breakfast, you leave for a full day tour where you can do 2 activities from the list below:
Option 1: Half day on the wine route (Franschhoek): Many grapes are grown in the region, they produce wines such as Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, Pinotage and local champagne.You will have the opportunity to buy wines directly from the producer to take home to enjoy the wonderful vintages of the region after your visit. The Huguenot Museum in Franschhoek remains one of its most popular attractions.
Option 2: Guided tour of a township: If you want to know all the faces of the city of Cape Town, let yourself be guided through the township of Langa or Khayelitsha. The authentic personalities you meet on your tour will allow you to appreciate the South African philosophy of ‘Ubuntu’.
Option 3: From June to November only: Road to Hermanus and cruise with whale watching
Option 4: All year round: Diving with sea lions/Kayak in Houtbay

Cape Town

Robben Island and afternoon at leisure
After breakfast, get transferred to the Waterfront for the visit of Robben Island. Robben Island or Robbeneiland (Afrikaans) is an island in South Africa, located off Cape Town, 6.9 km west of the coast of Bloubergstrand. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1999, Robben Island is known for being used as a prison, leper colony, psychiatric hospital and military defense post. In the 20th century, black opponents of the apartheid regime, sentenced to long sentences, were interned there, including three future South African presidents (Nelson Mandela, Kgalema Motlanthe and Jacob Zuma).

Saint Lucia

Welcome to Saint Lucia!
After breakfast, you will depart for Cape Town airport to catch a flight to Durban. Once at Durban airport, you will head to Saint Lucia with your driver-guide. After checking-in at the guesthouse, set off on a sunset cruise on the St Lucia estuary. Crocodiles, hippos and a few other surprises are awaiting!

Saint Lucia

Game drive in Hluhluwe
Your day begins at sunrise with a 4×4 safari in the famous Hluhluwe Reserve, the oldest national park in South Africa. Less touristy than the Kruger National Park, it is the meeting of two reserves: Hluhluwe and Umfolozi, named after the two rivers that cross it. You will be back in Saint Lucia in the afternoon, where you can rest at the guesthouse or walk around the town of Saint Lucia.

Saint Lucia

Day at leisure in Saint Lucia
After breakfast, you can choose to spend some time in Saint Lucia or get a transfer with the rest of the group to the beach of Cape Vidal, located in Isimangaliso Wetland Park. This is a protected bay where you will have time to snorkel and enjoy the many species of fish that frequent the area. A dream beach, like the end of the world. Here, the Indian Ocean is offered to you in all its majesty. The beach is safe and suitable for swimming.

Eswatini

Stopover in Swaziland ( eSwatini)
After breakfast, you depart for Eswatini (new name for the Kingdom of Swaziland) where you will meet your local guide. Eswatini is a State located in southern Africa and landlocked between South Africa and Mozambique. This magnificent little country offers kilometers of parks and large natural spaces particularly suitable for hiking or safaris. Indeed, in addition to its unique and spectacular landscapes, Swaziland is home to many animal species that will delight lovers of African wildlife.

Hazyview

Safari in Kruger park
Cross the northern border of Eswatini after leaving your host. You will head to the Kruger Park, which you will reach in the early afternoon. The park is the size of Wales or Israel and packed with roaring treasures; in fact, it is one of the largest national parks in the world. Lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinoceroses live there freely to the delight of park visitors wishing to admire these majestic animals in their natural environment. Here the speed is limited to 50 km/h on paved road and 40 km/h on track, so as not to endanger the animals.

Hazyview

Safari in Kruger park
In the morning, go for a half day game drive in the Kruger park. In the afternoon, take some time off to relax and explore the city of Hazyview.

Timbavati game reserve

Game drive in the Timbavati game reserve
After spending the morning in the Hazyview, you will continue north to reach Timbavati. The Timbavati Reserve was established in 1956 by the then landowners. Today, Timbavati with the adjacent Kruger National Park, is one of the largest private game reserves in the world. One of the specificities of Timbavati is the low density of lodges present on the reserve. They all have one thing in common: preserving the ecosystem and the fauna found there. Here, all your meals and two guided 4×4 game drives per day are included.

Graskop

Explore the Blyde Canyon area
You will leave Timbavati after a morning game drive and breakfast for the Blyde river canyon area. The main attractions of this day include God’s Window and of course… the Blyde Canyon! Deep from 6 to 800 meters, it stretches over 26 km, making it the 3rd largest canyon in the world. Several points of view are worth a stop, in particular in the North, the site of the “3 Rondavels”
Day 13
Johannesburg

Arrival in Johannesburg
After breakfast, you leave for Johannesburg which you will reach in the afternoon. Before leaving Graskop, you will visit the Lisbon and Berlin falls, as well as the gold miners’ village of Pilgrims Rest. Once in Johannesburg, settle down at your hotel before dinner.

Johannesburg

Meet Mzansi
After breakfast, leave for a guided tour of Johannesburg and Soweto. The township of Soweto, once marked by segregation during apartheid, represents the heart of South Africa’s fight against injustice. This guided tour will allow you to discover Soweto, the house of Nelson Mandela and the museum of the young Hector Pieterson, who was shot during a peaceful march in Soweto. The excursion also includes a guided tour of the Apartheid Museum (OR Constitution Hill, if the Apartheid Museum is closed). After the tour and lunch, you will be dropped at your hotel to relax before dinner.

Johannesburg

Splendid Victoria Falls
After breakfast, you will get a transfer to Johannesburg airport for your flight to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. After checking-in at your hotel, you will leave for a guided walking tour of the falls.

Johannesburg

Safari in Chobe
Early in the morning, dyou will be transferred to the Kazungula border where you will meet your guide. From there, you will go directly to the Chobe River where you will spend the morning observing the fauna all along the river through a cruise. Tea, coffee and cookies will be served on board. The cruise will end around 12:30 p.m., at which time you will be taken to a hotel on the shore for lunch (included). In the afternoon, you will board a 4×4 safari vehicle to discover the abundant wildlife of the famous Chobe National Park. Covering an area of 10,566 km2, Chobe Park is the second largest in the country and probably has the largest concentration of elephants on the African continent.

Johannesburg

Goodbye South Africa
After breakfast, go for an autonomous stroll around the streets of Victoria Falls. Explore the art markets, go for an helicopter flip above the falls or try some bungee-jumping or rafting. At around noon, a return transfer to Victoria Falls airport is scheduled before your flight to Johannesburg. Once in Johannesburg you’ll check-in and embark on your international flight
