The company is based in Johannesburg on 173 Main Street and provides travel related services to tourists wishing to visit South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Kamaroutes also have partnerships with agencies based in Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania and can arrange tours in these countries. The services we provide include flight tickets, accommodation and car rentals, transfers and guided activities. Our focus areas are camping travel, self drive and driving tours, adventure tourism, wellness and gastronomy.

Our main market being Europeans, we adopted the Euro as our currency of trade, especially with online payments. However we can make specific arrangements for clients who wish to be invoiced in other currencies.
Our company is based in SOUTH AFRICA and is governed by South African laws.
Any registration for one of our trips will be definitively confirmed once the sales contract has been signed and effective once a deposit has been received. For certain trips subject to special cancellation conditions, a second deposit, the amount of which is mentioned in the detailed programme, will be requested. The balance of the trip must be received at least 60 days before departure (If your balance has not arrived within the required time, your registration may be cancelled and subject to the usual cancellation conditions. 60 days before departure, the total price of the trip must be paid.)
Any cancellation on your part must be notified to us as soon as possible in writing. The payments made will be refunded according to the conditions below:
No refunds are made in the following cases:
Certain specific services are not reimbursed: ex. air tickets already issued, show tickets or entrance fees for certain activities, unless the cancellation is the fault of the organizer.
If you cannot travel, you can be replaced by a person of your choice, provided that he/she fulfils the same conditions to make the trip. You must notify us no later than 15 days before the start of the trip and we will confirm this change by mail or registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt specifying the name, first name and address of the participant. The assignment of the contract remains subject to the availability of air travel to make the trip on behalf of the new participant and if necessary the deadline for obtaining the visa.
For security reasons or on the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we might have to modify a program or cancel a departure. In the event of a program change, we will reimburse the difference between the original and the replacement services. In case of cancellation of the departure by the organizer, your payment will be refunded. No further compensation can be awarded under these circumstances.
All passengers must ensure that they are medically, physically and / or psychologically fit to travel. We reserve the right not to accept a participant who does not have the skills, or the physical abilities, to perform the walking tours.
