Travel Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi

Jambo! Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. After a brief welcome and an introduction to your dedicated guide, you will have some time to settle in. Nairobi, Kenya's capital, is unique as the only city in the world with a national park within its borders. It serves as the gateway to your safari adventure, offering various wildlife-themed attractions, markets, and excellent dining options. Your evening will conclude with a delicious dinner.

Day 2 & 3 - Immersion in Maasai Mara National Reserve

Today, your true safari adventure begins as you transfer by road from Nairobi to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is widely considered one of Kenya's finest wildlife viewing destinations. Upon arrival at Enkakenya Camp, you will check in and enjoy lunch.
For the next two days, immerse yourselves fully in the incredible Maasai Mara. Your expert guide will lead you on extensive game drives across the vast plains, searching for its abundant wildlife. The Masai Mara is particularly well-known for its large prides of lions and significant hyena populations, and you are almost guaranteed to see numerous predators, including leopards, cheetahs, alongside vast herds of impalas, zebras, wildebeest, and buffalo. Elephants, giraffes, and hippos are also commonly sighted. You'll enjoy the iconic landscapes of the Mara and may even have the opportunity for picnic lunches within the park itself, maximising your wildlife viewing time. After thrilling days of exploration and wildlife observation, you will return to the camp for dinner and restful nights.

Day 4 - Game drive in Nairobi National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from the Masai Mara and journey back to Nairobi. This strategic stop helps break up the long journey to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you'll enjoy lunch at Boho Eatery. In the afternoon, you will embark on a fascinating game drive in Nairobi National Park, focusing on spotting both black and white rhinos, which are a major attraction. The surreal experience of seeing wild animals with a city skyline in the background is unique. Keep an eye out for giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles, along with over 500 bird species. You will then return to your lodge to relax before dinner.

Day 5 & 6 - Game drives in Amboseli National Park

Following your wonderful Nairobi experience, it's time to head south to Amboseli National Park, renowned for offering some of the world's most beautiful panoramic views. You will arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, where you can relax before embarking on your evening game drive.

Over these two days, dedicate yourselves to exploring the magnificent Amboseli. This park is famous for its large-tusked elephants and the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. This combination creates fantastic photo opportunities, especially at sunrise and sunset when the clouds often clear from the summit. You'll embark on extensive game drives, discovering its diverse zones including swamps, savannas, and acacia forests. You have excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, buffalo, giraffes (in the eastern part), wildebeest, and various gazelles. The park is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with 420 recorded species. You'll enjoy a packed breakfast within the park on one of the mornings, allowing you to maximize your wildlife viewing time. After thrilling days of exploration, you will return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stays.

Day 7 - Transfer to Tsavo West National Park

Today involves a scenic road transfer to Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya's oldest and largest parks, covering approximately 9,065 km². Situated between Nairobi and Mombasa, it is part of the larger Tsavo ecosystem, known for its exceptional biodiversity. Tsavo West is famous for its spectacular landscapes featuring black lava flows, open savannas, rolling hills, and crystal-clear springs. The park is home to the renowned red elephants of Tsavo, as well as lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and over 600 bird species. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a full day of game drives, observing diverse animals and enjoying lunch within the park, continuing until sunset. You will then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6 - Last game drive & Departure

Your incredible safari journey concludes today. After breakfast, you'll enjoy a final early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park. Your expert guide will assist you in spotting elephants, rhinos, big cats, spotted hyenas, and perhaps even lesser kudu. Following lunch, you will be transferred to the train station for your journey to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, another driver will meet you and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, a mere 15 minutes away, for your departure flight. We trust you will return home with a suitcase full of wonderful memories and hope to welcome you back again soon.
