Suppliers Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations we have for all our suppliers. By working with us, suppliers agree to adhere to the following guidelines.

1. Legal Compliance

Suppliers must:
– Comply with all applicable national and international laws and regulations.
– Ensure all required licenses, permits, and certifications are valid and up to date.

2. Labor Rights and Working Conditions

Suppliers shall:
– Respect the rights of employees, including fair wages, working hours, and safe working conditions.

3. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to:

– Comply with relevant environmental regulations and support biodiversity conservation.
– Avoid the use of single-use plastics where possible and promote recycling and reuse.
– Support sustainable tourism practices that protect natural and cultural heritage.

4. Animal Welfare

For suppliers involved in animal-related tourism:
– Animals must be treated with respect and care.
– Activities must not involve cruelty, abuse, or exploitation of animals.
– Suppliers should follow the ABTA Animal Welfare Guidelines or equivalent standards.

5. Health and Safety

Suppliers must:
– Prioritize the safety and well-being of travelers, staff, and local communities.
– Implement appropriate health and safety policies, procedures, and emergency plans.

6. Community Engagement and Cultural Respect

Suppliers are encouraged to:
– Support local communities through fair employment and partnerships.
– Promote cultural sensitivity and ensure that tourism does not exploit local traditions or communities.
– Respect the rights of Indigenous peoples and traditional landowners.

7. Anti-Corruption and Transparency

Suppliers must:
– Conduct business ethically, with zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or fraudulent practices.
– Maintain transparent and honest communication in all dealings with Kamaroutes Travel Designers and our clients.

8. Monitoring and Compliance

– Kamaroutes reserves the right to assess supplier compliance with this Code of Conduct.
– Non-compliance may lead to corrective actions, or, in severe cases, the termination of the business relationship.
