Travel Itinerary

Day tour - Your full day itinerary

The adventure begins as we whisk you away along Cape Town's breathtaking Atlantic coastline, where the Twelve Apostles mountains plunge dramatically into the sea. We will cruise past the luxurious seaside homes of Bantry Bay, stop at Maiden's Cove for those picture-perfect boulder formations, and soak up the energy of Camps Bay's famous beachfront.

Then we will drive to the fishing village of Hout Bay. You will have the chance to embark on a boat trip to Seal Island, where thousands of playful Cape fur seals bask on the rocks. You may shop for souvenirs at the craft market on the quayside before heading off. Then comes the crown jewel of coastal drives - Chapman's Peak. This engineering marvel hugs sheer cliffs above crashing waves, offering what many consider the world's most spectacular ocean views.

Next we will stop in the historic naval village of Simon's Town for one of the day's most delightful surprises - a visit to Boulders Beach to walk among a thriving colony of endangered African penguins. Watch these charismatic birds waddle along the boardwalks, swim gracefully in the turquoise waters, and maybe even steal your heart. An optional extra (time permitting) is a visit to the beach's recreational area, where you can swim in the calm sea. This side of the penguin colony occasionally sees a few individuals, offering a more intimate and natural encounter, with the chance of one or two swimming nearby. Enjoy lunch at a local favourite (guest's expense), where you may have fresh seafood while enjoying the ocean views.

The adventure continues as we enter Cape Point Nature Reserve, home to a variety of wildlife, including baboons, rhebok, Cape mountain zebra, bontebok, and the elusive eland. Take the funicular or hike up to the historic lighthouse for panoramic views that will take your breath away, then visit the legendary Cape of Good Hope.

As we make our way back along False Bay, keep your eyes peeled for whales (in season) and reflect on a day filled with delightful moments - from heart-stopping coastal vistas to close encounters with incredible wildlife.
